bancruptcy and credit cards

I have just been discharged from my bancruptcy early and now need to start rebuilding some kind of credit. I know its not going to be easy, and the bancruptcy stays on my credit report for years, but i need to at least make an effort.
i intend on using it once a month and then repaying the full ballance. But who will accept, and who is the best to apply to?
any help would be great.
Thanks

your best bet will be vanquis or capone to start with0

Just make sure that you pay it off in full every month and setting up a DD for at least the minimum payment is a MUST. You simply can't afford to have a rolling balance on these things or to risk missing a payment.
On another note, I can't comment on Vanquis but I've always found Capital One really quite good on the old customer service front. I know on here you'll hear horry stories form both, just saying as I find.
Good luck!0 -
thanks,
the vanquis is looking promising, the capital one does say you're unlikely to be accepted if you've been bankrupt in the last 12 months.
i was only planning on spending around£50 a month and paying the whole thing off anyway.0 -
try to amke sure that you are following every single rule as well as regulation because with it you might face some problem too. so it is better to rectify this and then move forward0

Virgin Centurion Credit Card.
Only kidding its going to have to be vanquis or capital one.0 -
thanks, i'll apply right after i get my credit report sorted. I saw it yesterday and there are still loads of things not updated on it, so i don't want to make the application any harder!0
