Advice on claiming back P.P.I. I would like to know if I can claim against my bank as the only money I had coming in was from the benefits agency and a small works pension. I need an answer before I proceed and any useful tips you can give me.

If ppi was added and you were on benefits only, then you have a claim, so give it a go, you would not have been eligible to make a claim anyway, so go for it.
Complete the questionnaire as shown as stage one here:

this replaced the first reclaiming template letter, but you can write a letter in your own word if you want to, or a cover letter to enclose with the questionnaire.

Keep a copy for yourself as well, and they should get back with a decision by 8 weeks, or may ask for more time, keep at them and ask for further help if required, good luck.;)
