Alliance & Leciester / Santander UNFAIR bank charges!

Hello,
I have a £100 worth of charges on my account  I manage my money very well checking my balance every other day, I have a spreadsheet with all my outgoings on and how much is left to spend in my account.
The problem that happens is when a card payment is made on my card it doesnt always show up on my account online however my account with HSBC always shows a "LIve" balance.
So I went overdrawn because of card payments coming out because they cant keep a live balance the most I went over my overdraft was £35 in the month but because 3 transactions went through. they are charing me a £100!!!!!
AN UNFAIR BANK CHARGE in my eyes. Where do I go from here?
I have a mortgaged with them and a current account. I feel like telling them to shuv it and refuse to pay and Move accounts.

So I went overdrawn because of card payments coming out [STRIKE]because they cant keep a live balance[/STRIKE] because I didn't take into account my expenditure !
I've taken the liberty of correcting your post !
You've contradicted yourself. You obviously don't manage your money well enough. You know when/why/how/what you've used your card for so update your spreadsheet when you do. Don't wait for HSBC.
Where do you go from here ? Simple, you learn, you pay, it was your error !0 -

Does your available balance not show the funds as being earmarked, I know from experience that a & l takes days to update running balance however always went by available balance i.e. when I used debit card my available balance was reduced.0 -
I have a 'live' balance on my Santander account. £35 I spent yesterday hasn't appeared yet, but available funds show that I have spent £35.0

My partner's Co-Op account is not in real time and the available balance can never be trusted.
My Halifax account is pretty much in real time. The available balance is the available balance. Almost:
If you order something online, and it isn't actually authorised in advance, but simply debited when shipped, that won't feature in your available balance until it's been debited - which you might well have forgotten about especially if there's a delay.
The only person in a position to know what the available balance is, is the customer, by keeping a ledger of transactions or making a note of what is spent.
You cannot rely on the available balance from the bank, which is why you've had this problem. Unlesss you only use it as a cash account, because cash withdrawals will drop off your available balance instantly. If you want to handle your money this way, you must not use direct debits, standing orders, or your debit card.0
