Hey everyone, Ive read a few things about not being able to get cheap lion king show tickets for the west end, something about it being a Disney show and not discounting any.
Does anyone know if the little stalls you see around Leicester Square are legit? and how much they sell tickets for if we were to buy them on the day?
Desperately want to take my 4 year old daughter for her birthday next Thursday!
Thanks for any help!!

the tkts stall is. I think they are normally half price. Or you could try day seats (front row stalls) but they might not be right for kids due to the height of the stage.
Most of the stall should be fine0 -
It's difficult to get cheap seats for the Lion King because it's so popular. You can try the half price ticket bureau in leicester square but I would advise you to use the official one: http://www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk/tkts/whats_on_today/ as a lot of the little kiosks are selling restricted view tickets but they don't tell you that. The Lion King will be perfect for your daughter. I suggest an aisle in the stalls because all the animals come down the aisles at the beginning. If you are bothering to see a big show, I would definitely pay for a good seat. The Lion King does no have a matinee on a Thursday, so it would be the evening performance - might that be a bit late for your 4-year-old?0

Nearly £100 per ticket!! £400 for a couple of hours of entertainment for a family? What a bloody rip-off.:eek:0

There is a touring version of the lion king at the moment, currently in Bristol I think. Might be worth looking at to see if it comes near you as it might be cheaper.0
