Quick and easy question!

Just got accpeted for my first credit card yesteray.. barclays platnium..

Want to purchase something for £2200.

I already have £1500 saved and was planning on splitting the payment part cash then the remaining £700 on credit card.

Can i do this?

As being my first credit card im not sure what my credit limit will be!

As long as the shop accept for you to pay part cash and part credit card then yes...all depending of course on your credit limit. If you call Barclaycard they should be able to tell you your credit limit

It is certainly possible to split payments between cash and credit card, but without knowing the retailer no-one can say for sure whether it will work in your case. I doubt whether anyone but Barclays could tell you what your limit will be either.

They might...a lot of lenders once accepted will tell you if you ask...
