so when do they start packing then? i have a delivery slot for monday would they start packing monday then? or get most of it tomorrow. if they do get out of stock can i refuse the whole order. i dont really want to pay £5 for them to deliver a few pints of milk:rolleyes:0

As you can amend your order up until a few hours before delivery I would say they will pack your order Monday. Might be worth checking the Tesco codes thread to see if there are any free delivery offers.
Not sure whether you get back delivery charge if you refuse order, but whenever I have to phone about any probs with delivery they are pretty good.0 -
There no games on for 97p when I checked. Its odd really! Hmmm.....OP did you purchase you computer from Tescos? Must have a Tesco microchip or some deep Tesco software embedded into its matrix core thus utilising your spending habits.......0

I just followed original op instructins and found road rage and Harry potter game at 97p each .
Plus ps2 black 9.84 ( wonder if that is the console).
Then as I added other items I saw the wording near the checkout button "Price Guide" which means this (pasted from tesco site):-
About the guide price
The guide price is what we estimate your order will come to when we do your shopping. You may find that your final bill is slightly different from the guide price.
If you're not happy just return any item
If the final price charged for any item is more than you wanted to pay, you can return it and we'll give you a full refund. Just give it back to the driver and we'll take care of it for you.
So why is the guide price different to my final bill?
The guide price is based on today's prices instore. But we shop for your order on the day you want it delivered, just as though you were shopping yourself. The final bill can vary because:
The guide price uses an estimated weight for weighed items like grapes and cheese. But what you pay will use the exact weight.
The guide price doesn't include all promotion and offer discounts. But what you pay will include all the promotions and offers that are valid on that day, including any new offers that apply.
The guide price is based on the prices in-store today. But what you pay is the price in-store on the day of delivery and some prices may have changed.
If we have to substitute any item you'll be charged the price for the substitute instead
Having read this I didn't bother as knowing my luck they will turn up with the stuff and a bill much higher than the web site quotes and I will then have to send it back and would have wasted time staying in.
BUT IF YOU DO GET IT CHEAPER LET ME KNOW QUICK AND AS THEY CHARGE THE PRICE IN STORE I MAY GO IN TO MY STORE TOMORROW.
ps2 black is a game and not a very good one at that :rotfl::dance: " i wanna be the minority! " :dance:0 -
They cancelled my order without contacting me. I stayed in for 2 hours this morning.
I rang them and at first they said the van had broken down, followed by the store has a bulk buying policy.
I asked why they didn't contact me to say that or why they didn't deliver the amount that falls within their buying allowance. I hadn't ordered dozens, my total order was less than £10.
The Customer Service man told me it's down to the stores discretion.
I have wasted a morning and have nothing to show for it.
Pretty damned annoyed, but typical of Tesco0
