I have had an offer accepted on my house last week....and the buyer is using Countrywide Property Lawyers !!!
I have just googled them and read horror stories !!!
Should I be concerned? My solicitor told me if things run smoothly, he could have things sorted in 6-8 weeks.....but I am not sure if this will happen from the reviews !!!!
I was so happy at selling up - and now I read this - any advice would be great

we groan when we see them on the other side, as do many agents.
how would they have chosen them...it usually happens by the National estate agents who push people to Countrywide, as I hear that CW give a good cash back to the Agents....wouldn't get the work without it due to their rep I suspect.
PUt it this way, I wouldn't dream of hiring anyone who worked there. ever.
good luck!:(My posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:
My bad spelling...well I rush type these opinions on my own time, so sorry, but they are free.:o0
