My nephew has lost the wireless key for his Virgin Media D Link router. Do you guys have any idea how he can find out what it is? Thanks.

Try running WirelessKeyView from Nir Sofer. It will (hopefully) give the long ASCII value of what was originally probably a short text field. So best bet is to cut and paste it into the Connect field.
The download is near the bottom of the webpage.
Also well worth reading the FAQ, which says more about the key format.
(That's unless you mean the router's administrator logon password, which is a different animal!)0 -
Failing that, if you can get onto the box reset the key or reset the whole router.0

Thanks for all the replies. We are now sorted out.0
