T-Mobile Delivery Charges

I've just renewed my contract with t-mobile, and received a new handset. Was advised this would be free when talking to their rep on the phone - now find a delivery charge on my account.

What's the score with this? Should they have informed me pre-delivery they'd be charging me the costs of delivery? If so, am I well placed to ask for a refund? It's a small amount, but I'd like to have been told first.

Also, can I sue them for millions of pounds for the intense personal anguish this minor charge has caused, the thousands of pounds it's left me out of pocket, the fact I ran out of milk today, etc etc...

  • No. The phone was free..

  • Yes, but the delivery wasn't and 'we'll give you a free phone' might be taken to imply, i don't know, that they'll give you a phone for free. Which they haven't done.
