Obviously shows it works then. Whether it shows anyone but their affiliates is not something I know.
It was merely a suggestion to the OP, they can take it or leave it.0 -
All applicants should be beware of ANY CRA recommending or suggesting that they would get any particular card. It has been proven to be wholly inaccurate and lulls potential applicants into a false sense of security thinking they'll get a card when in reality they probably won't due to the reasons mentioned above.Yes, some will get some form of card, but most won't. There were nemerous threads on this when the CRA's first started marketing this nonsense. It's just marketing, just as the fake credit scores are.0

I had a few weeks off work and decided to clean up my credit file, after I had got it fairly glowing on creditexpert it matched me to a barclaycard gold and not a lot else. Applied for the card as it suited me for balance transfers at 0% and after that I ran it again a couple of weeks later and it pretty much offered me every card natwest, barclaycard simplicity, platinum, AA etc etc. Before I started to sort things out it only showed vanquis and capital one.
The credit card side seems quite genuine and useful but the bank accounts etc just get loaded up by a website called beat that quote and don't seem to use any personal data so I suspect those are a complete waste of time.
That said I haven't had barclaycard a month yet so I haven't made a payment but when I called with a problem to log in online they told me as I was special and conducting my account so well I had a special offer to be able to transfer my balances on 0%....woohoo!. So I'm not really sure weather they actually really check very much in detail.0
