they should actually post the lenses and allow you to collect the sols in bulk when neccessary , have you ever requested this ??

Oh yes, but they now charge extra for the lenses (last time I asked it was £1 per month, and as they post them in 3 month batches it was an extra £3.) I refused as it's the principle of the thing and also they are much more expensive than elsewhere

I was on the contact lens scheme for 4 years, had my eye tests done there and got new glasses and lenses when needed, but cancelled everything 6 years ago and have never set foot inside a Vision Express when they failed to put prescription lenses in my sunglasses within the hour.

I specifically asked the assistant when I dropped them in if they were able to do them that quick and she'd said yes, so I left them there. Normally I wouldn't have been so narked, but the different assistant they sent over to appease me whilst I waited beyond the hour was actually quite rude, so I asked for my sunglasses back without the new lenses fitted and told them to cancel the contact lens scheme. I then swapped to Boots Opticians and whilst I had to wait a day for the sunglasses they have been fab :j even after I moved overseas and only went there for check-ups when in UK.
