I bought my teenage son a new Archos mp3 player. Really nice player,nice design and well constructed metal casing. Of course being a teenager he can break anything, and sure enough within a week he has managed to damage the 3cm square LCD display (not smashing it, just making it unreadable)thereby unplayable. I contacted Archos who were prepared to do the screen repair/replacement, but estimated it would cost in the region of £100. I just wondered if any of you techie's out there had any suggestions?
