Just accepted an offer on our house...now what?!

I've just accepted an offer on our house which we've had on the market since April!! Am over the moon!!! :j

We need to move asap as we're relocating over 90 miles away so I'm hoping to view properties and get an offer accepted on a house with no chain by the end of next week. Please can someone advise me how long it's like to take to get a completion date, when to get quotes for removal people, etc etc. This is the first time I've sold a property and have no idea how it all works.

Hope the sale all goes through!!!!

Usually about 12 weeks start to finish (offer to completion). Mind you, could be rushed through in 4, or could drag on for months. Depends if you're in a flat (usually takes longer) and if there are any complications.

There are loads of online checklists for when to do things. Someone will bound to have one handy or just google 'moving checklist' and I'm sure a handy list will be at the top.

Lots more to organise than just removals so worth reading a preprepared list.

    Good luck.

PS re-read that you're selling a house so should anticipate 12 weeks on average
