Should i cancel my old card?

Hello!

...I currently have 3 credit cards (one of which is a rewards card that i just took out). My question is: if I’m not using all my credit cards regularly is it better to cancel one or leave them all open??

The cards i have are:

1 - With my main bank, which i use now and again for big purchases.

2 - I took out a year ago, now do not use at all

3 - New rewards card

I want to know whether to cancel the card i'm not using or leave it open? Will any of this affect my credit rating?

Many thanks

    Hi
I would close card 2. You have enough available credit on the other 2 cards should you ever need it.
How much you earn is looked at in future requests; they would look at how much available credit you have as a percentage of your earnings. If you have a lot of available credit and you are asking for another card then they could see that you could go out and spend all available credit so may not want to lend any more
