My laptop crashed yesterday before I had time to backup my library with my latest purchases. They are still on my iPod but having now sorted the computer out I can't find the ones from 2 days ago on itunes so I can sync with the ipod.
If i sync then I will lose my purchases, can anyone help please? thanks

OK I've downloaded some software that should help, trouble is every time I plug the iPod in it won't recognise in either My Computer or in the software, it's pops up momentarily then disappears.
I bought some stories for the kids so could really do with some help here to try and get them, anyone?0 -
I'm no expert but if you're using itunes I'm assuming you have an account from which you pay for your downloads? If yes itunes will have a note of what you've downloaded and paid for so can't you just re-download them?0

Open itunes up and open up preferences. Then connect ipod. This prevents the ipod being automatically reconfigured. Then open up the ipod from my computer (may need to show hidden files) and copy all the music files onto your computer. However you will have to find the music within that...0

I've trawled thru the iTunes account but can't find the items I've paid for.
On top of that for some reason when I connect the iPod it is recognised as drive F: and then disappears. I've set up to show hidden files but still no joy..0 -
Have you signed in to Apple Store in iTunes with the username/password you used when purchasing?0

If you redownload stuff you've already purchased you won't be charged again.

Ah, yes - doesn't work for MP3s or audiobooks unfortunately. Ridiculous, but true. Definitely free to get the apps again.0
