Incapacity benefit and savings

Can anyone tell me how much savings you can have upto to claim Incapacity benefit? Does this include ISA's or is it just savings accounts?

If you are not already on/have previously been on Incapacity Benefit you cannot get it. IB has been replaced by Employment Support Allowance for new applicants.
ESA has two types: Contribution and Non-Contribution.
If you have enough N.I. credits then you can get apply for contribution based which doesn't take into account savings.
If you don't then you can apply for income based providing you have less than £16,000 in savings. ISAs are savings accounts, they just aren't taxable.0 -
