Hello - still a bit new to all this!! I save £200.00 each month for Christmas:T hopefully this see me as a serious MoneySaver!! I usually start a new account about October each year, and try to get a bonus on the anniversary. This year, Norwich & Peterborough Building Society are offering an e-Family regular saver - which I can qualify for as I have 2 children under 16. It's a 2% AER with a 3% bonus. Is this a good option??? :question:I prefer to do my banking online as I can access whenever I like.
I'd appreciate any comments/thoughts!!:)

This is as good a deal as you are going to get - as long as it lasts. It's about 4% after tax, and I don't know of an ISA that delivers that. As long as you don't fall foul of the 1 withdrawal per year rule.
First Direct customers can also use their 5% Regular Saver (max £300 a month). No withdrawal until maturity.0 -
Hi
There are a number of accounts that may suit your requirements, take a look here for a list of 'regular saver' accounts, the rates are attractive but be careful to check the full terms & conditions with regard to the withdrawals that you wish to make:

I hope this helps.

Although HSBC seems to come out best (8%), note it's only for HSBC Premier, HSBC Advance, HSBC Graduate (Advance) and HSBC Passport customers.0 -
Thank both for your comments. I did see the requirements and was just a bit worried it was "too good to be true!" A lot of the best accounts require a current account as a link and this didn't - I think I might just sign up! Thanks again0

Same here!
But I googled it and lo and behold, there she was. Penny Alerts (nee Fotherington). Best girlfriend I had at school, and still as beautiful. Will contact her again. See if we have any ISA's or large holdings in common....0 -

It's worth noting this account carries a 3% ongoing bonus after the first anniversary (3.5% inclusive of variable rate) which, in this climate, should make it attractive for longer term savings.
I just wonder what the checking is that you have a dependent child under 16?.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -

I think the perceived wisdom is that if you have children under 16, then you can't possibly afford to save. Hence, one of the 5000-strong Norwich & Peterborough BS child-detector vans will be operating in your area.0
