Please move if in the wrong section....
To cut a long story short....
I use the 'Price Watch' facility on find-cd.co.uk. You put in a target price of a particular CD you may be after and when the CD eventually (if it does) drops to that price find-cd.co.uk e-mail you.
Arctic Monkeys' Whatever..CD dropped to £3.72 on Selectcheaper.com so I was sent a notification e-mail, followed the link and bought it. What a bargain.
A few days passed and I got an e-mail from Selectcheaper saying that they are having trouble with the supplier and this will be delayed for a few more days - fair enough. Yesterday, I received an e-mail stating that they are cancelling my order because they can't get this CD from the supplier for the 'foreseeable' (sp) future. Refund, blah blah blah.... However, they have TEN in stock on their website at £8.84 each - I paid £3.72.
I'm not naive, I can read between the lines; it's obvious what has happened.
I have sent them an e-mail reminding them that they have TEN in stock and am awaiting a response.
Any comments would be appreciated...

There is no obligation for any company to sell you anything at any price, regardless of what they advertised it at.
This is why companies always get away with mis-prices and don't have to honour them.
I'm guessing SelectCheaper would say the ones they currently have were obtained at a higher price so have to be sold for higher, so I wouldn't hold your breath.
It sucks but companies have you over a barrel :-(0
