Don't pay good money for the worthless 'so called' credit scores from Experian, Equifax, etc.
The scores are not passed to lenders with your credit history and are just numbers made up by the credit reference agencies.

That is interesting - so where should you check your credit and what do they send to the lenders?

You should check your credit history (or report) held by the credit reference agencies. The £2 statutory report has everything you need and is also the information sent to lenders. The 'score' (magic number) you pay extra for is just a number dreamt up by the credit reference agency computer and is NOT part of your credit history, so it never gets sent to anyone but you. Ergo, it's a waste of good money.
