Morning guys,I collected the last of my potatoes on Sunday,I still have 2 bowls of decent sized ones and 1 bowl of tiny ones (varying in size from marbles to cherry tom size.)...is it worth cooking these ,I wondered if i could steam them for a few mins, but is that pointless due to their size?Does anyone more experienced use potatoes this small?

Yes, it would be a shame to waste them. Cook them in with your other potatoes which you have cut into smaller pieces to ensure they all need the same cooking time. You can also cook them whole for making a potato salad, or chop them up to cook in soup and caseroles.0

We boil them for a short time with the skins on and use them for salads etc.

For chat potatoes also try:
Chop and onion finely. Add oil to a pan, add the onion and fry gently, as it softens add tumeric and a little cumin. fry for a minute, add your tiny potatoes. Cook them very very gently (asbestos mat under them on gas) until soft. You end up with a lovely spicy sauce clinging to the potatoes. You can add a little ginger, garlic or chilli if you wish.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Thanks guys,Chat Potatoes sound lovely..im gonna try that with some of the middle sized ones..
I used the smallest ones in a smokey chicken casserole,with chicken ,chorizo,onion,mushrooms,chickpeas,tinned tomatoes,..the addition of the wee potatoes(added whole,skins n all)made it a complete one pot meal..deliciousSlimming World..Wk1,..STS,..Wk2,..-2LB,..Wk3,..-3.5lb,..Wk4,..-2.5,..Wk5,..-1/2lb,Wk6,..STS,..Wk7,..-1lb.
