My Epson Stylus DX5050 has died (!) and I want to replace it. Can I have some advice on the best value to purchase now.
In case there are some suggestions as to how to revive it, I am getting prints with 'lines missing'. I have tried to clean the jets and realign without success. Have changed the inks and even bought Epson cartridges all to no avail, short of money so if it can be revived this would be ideal.

I had two Epson Stylus SX200s and had the same trouble which the local Epson agent could not solve so, still staying with Epson, I bought an Epson Stylus SX415 but have decided to only use genuine cartridges, not £9 or £7 each but £23 a set free p&p through Amazon.0
