Hi Guys, hope you can help.

I have just gone to use my laptop after a few weeks of being away to find that it wont boot.

When I press the power button, the power light comes on but nothing happens, I cant hear the HDD spin up or anything.

I have tried on battery only and on mains but no difference.

It cant be a Hard Disc problem as I have put it into my desktop and there are no problems (current making a copy of everything on there)

I have checked the HDD connections as well as the RAM but nothing I do seams to make a difference.

Any help is appreciated

Problem now solved. After being left on charge for an hour it booted up, message on the screen saying the CMOS battery was flat, and then booted fine.
