Dss compensation.

My Benefits were stopped without any notification. After a few months of hassel with the DSS they paid me some of the benefit i was owed. My question is after making a formal complaint about the way my case was handled i recieved a letter of apology. I have asked for compensation on the grounds of maladministration and the local district manager forwarded my complaint to another department. My question is which department would this be? they have supposed to sent me a letter which i have not recieved and don't know who to contact about it. I have tried ICE but as i have not been through the complaints procedure they are unable to help me.

All i want is the money owed to me as it left me with |NO income.

  • Much thanks for your reply. I rang today but was not the right department to speak to. I was given some good advice of who i now need to contact. Apparently now i need to also complaint to another department about my complaint not being handled correctly as well as the original complaint....it just gets more and more rediculous....all i want is whats owed so i don't have to live off an overdraft at the end of every month.
