GAP Insurance Advice

Hi. Is there anybody here with a good knowledge of GAP insurance? I understand these products but could somebody please explain to me why you would opt for Combined GAP Insurance over Total Loss (RTI) GAP Insurance. I'm being assured the Combined one is the one to go for but I'm struggling to understand how it's better and justify the extra cost. Many thanks :j

Found a link below from another site, not sure if this is the same, as I am aware that GAP have a few type of insurances, maybe someone will clarify on this.
