item not received but says it has?

a couple of weeks ago i brought some new curtains off ebay ( £23 inc p+p) and they was marked off as dispatched the next day, i gave it 7 days then contacted the seller to ask what method they used to post, i never heard anything back,
2 days ago i opened a paypal dispute, not to get any money back, i still wanted the curtains , hoping the PP dispute would wake them up, IT DID !
they then sent me a message on ebay saying " sorry the shop was shut last week, have they come yet" to which i replied, " unfortunatly not
im still waiting "
today i get an email from paypal, saying ........
In response to your claim, the seller has provided proof of postage
indicating that the item was posted to you. Because the seller was able to
provide proof of postage, we cannot reverse this transaction or issue a
refund. We encourage you to continue to work directly with the seller to
amicably resolve this matter.
and a message from the seller that said ....
Hello,
The parcel was sent with MyHermes and they have updated the tracking information as being delivered in the porch.
This is shown in the Paypal dispute you have lodged - have a look and let me know - they say they have delivered!!

now the paypal thing is closed and im not sure what to do as i didnt get the curtains?

First of all I would heck with royal mail to see if it has been delivered or signed for etc and check the tracking number actually
relates to your item and your address maybe?0 -

well the tracking number they put in the paypal dispute i have put in myhermes track n trace and it comes up with ...

MyHermes aren't a great courier company in my experience. I tracked an item and it stated it was left outside in a shed. I was outside checking the next morning (lots of sheds - live on a farm) and the courier company pulled up outside with the delivery. I assume that they put false information on the tracking to meet targets.0

Phone paypal immediately, jump up and down, be firm with them. The tracking number does not show delivery therefore there decision for the seller is wrong.

As above, if the tracking doesn't show as delivered, phone paypal immediately and let them know, and INSIST that they refund you.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

Depends how they used the booking... I send stuff with DHL via Parcel2go, but their tracking number is meaningless on the DHL website. If I go onto the P2G webiste and choose DHL then it works.0
