Hi,
I have been lurking around the forum for a while, but have only registered today as I was hoping that someone could answer a couple of queries.
I applied online for the Granite card online last Wednesday (15th) and the application was neither accepted or declined, something along the lines of "we need to make further enquiries".
The thing is, there is no record of a search on Experian online (credit expert) and Vanquis who are behind the Granite card are listed on this site as using Experian. Do Granite also use Experian?
Also I haven't received any phone call regarding the application, do they phone you even if you are likely to be declined? Do Vanquis ever turn you down flat when you apply online in the first place?
