Halifax Regular Saver 7%

  • I have just rung them and they have confirmed the account stays live, and you get whatever rate is current at the time. This means from 12th March any future payments I make will attract 7%. Is it easy to set up a current account, and if so is web saver to current to regular saver the best way to go.

That would be the best way, yes. The standard current account should be simple, though they will probably do a credit check on you. Once opened I believe you can move money between the three online
  • Thanks - I did an on line application and was accepted straight away - maybe because I didn't want an overdraft. Just have to take the ID into the branch at the weekend. One set up I will do standing orders between the account so I don't have to think about it.
