Cheap hotel in Edinburgh that's not a travelodge?

Hi
I want a cheap hotel/guest house in Edinburgh for a stay 18-20 November. I normally go for a travelodge but all the Edinburgh ones seem to have bad reviews and the new one that's opened you can't leave luggage there after you check out.
So.... Does anyone have any alternatives? Or suggestions?
Thanks!

hi there - we stayed over new year in a great B and B called the froach house.
Good price and great breakfast0 -
Jurys Inn.
Very central.0 -
You can do a price comparison search here: http://www.ukhotel.com/edinburgh+lothian/edinburgh.html
At the moment, for your chosen dates, it returns a total price of £90 for a guest house (this is nights of 18th and 19th for 2 people in a double room).

i recently stayed at the Clan Campbell Hotel on Brunswick Street - it's really central for princess street etc - but, i got a better price on laterooms than by calling the hotel directly ... when i was staying there, they said if i'd told them this they would have met/reduced the late rooms price, because even reducing it, they would have got more actual cash because they wouldn't have to pay the late room charge
would totally recomend the place and would go back myself
i've also stayed at a premier inn/travel lodge (sorry can't remember which) opposite the portrait gallery which was fine and has parking...but it is a good 20 minute walk to anything of real interest. If it's about cash thou i would be happy to go back there,Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.

Apart from the Dreghorn & Musselburgh TLs none of them get a bad report on Tripadvisor
And I'm somewhat confused as to your comment about the "new one that's opened" as most of them have opened within the past year with more than one of them since the start of the summer. There's now four right in the middle with 3 more within walking distance0 -
