Laptop keyboard letter stuck?

Please could anyone suggest anything I could try to get the S on my laptop keyboard working again? I am using and external keyboard to write this. The S is the only letter affected. I have taken the covering of the letter off, but there is nothing strange lodged there.

PLEASE QUICKLY someone, I have just seen on Ebay some keys being sold from the same model laptop as mine.............. can I change just ONE key and is it difficult? Please let me know as I have only a few hours to go before the auction finishes.

try with just the area around where the key is sticking

Thank you Browntoa for the reply and link. I have tried the cleaning route, but no luck. I have purchased the key I need ( S ) I just hope its not to difficult to change, do you know of any sites that show you how to do it please?

Hey? If it is the mechanical 'part' that has gone then changing the key should do it - normally however you will need an entire new keybourd module - I did this on my laptop no probs got a replacement off ebay put model in a permenant ebay search and three months later a spare s/h keyboard turned up!
