One form of funding you should think about applying to is the Access to Learning Fund. You can apply to this once you have registered with your university and once you have received the first instalment of your student loan.
You should be able to pick up an application form from your university's Student Services department, or also your Student Union advice centre.
The Access to Learning Fund is a government fund distributed to universities to manage, and works in a similar way to a hardship fund. Universities can make non-repayable awards from it, so it won't increase your student debt, and you won't have to pay the money back later.
Hope that helps!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
