wanted: RSJs

I am looking to get hold of some RSJs. I know they have a very low second hand value.

any tips?

    most general scrap yards sell them

    or try build salvage
  • Enquire with demolition companies. Most of the demo's I know sell slavaged steelwork, flooring, joists, doors, even crushed brick etc.

    Sounds strange, but its worth also ckecking with steel stockholders to see what price they want - sometimes they can be cheaper that 2nd hand !! and even if they are more expensive you'll know how much you've saved 8)
