    No doubt she wants to go with another guy for the freebie. Probably part of the reason they have split up....

    Your "friend" has absolutely no case under the DDA or anything else.

    Complain nicely and let them sort it, it is hardly the end of the world is it and what money have you lost exactly to be compensated for?
