If they have grown in there I'd give them a go but if you have chucked them in yourself thats a different matter entirely.

They look as good as they don't even need a wash :-o My husband was shocked and said they look like I have brought them from the supermarket!

It can definitely happen. They should be fine to eat as long as they aren't damaged or green in any way.
