Using Santander Zero CC in USA

Does the 0% foreign exchange fee still apply in the USA??
I've found a few conflicting bits of info suggesting that it only applies in Europe
Also .... what happens if you've balance transferred 75% of you credit limit, have been paying the min payments for 5/6 months then decide you want to make purchases on the card.
Is there a way of paying off the purchases (in full) seperately and leaving the balance transferred amount intact thereby avoiding any interest??

Care to post them, and the source(s)?I've found a few conflicting bits of info suggesting that it only applies in Europe
From 1st Jan 2011, your payments will be used to repay the highest interest debt first (a reversal of the current practice on many cards including Santander), so yes you could repay just the purchase(s) thereby avoiding interest. Also .... what happens if you've balance transferred 75% of you credit limit, have been paying the min payments for 5/6 months then decide you want to make purchases on the card.

I assume you have the old card (with 12 months 0% on BTs) and not the latest 6/6 product?0
