wasn't quite sure where to put this
signed up at college today for a entry level literacy course 2 hours per week and am doing a numeracy at my boys school 2 hours per week i don't think its a problem at the moment but jan/septemeber next year there is more i would like to do
i have no g.c.s.e's or equivalent so will be using the next few months for entry courses to gain access to the better courses however
how many hours etc can i do as tbh at my last work focused interview they wasn't majorly helpful (i was pretty much told im not expected to work as i am a carer for my son)
background: i receive income support, housing benefit child benefit and child tax credits ds3 is on higher rate dla for care so i also receive carers allowance
once he starts school (waiting for a start date at school now he has a statement of sen) i will be bored sat at home, however i would like to know what i can do in terms of courses as i would like to eventually train as a teaching assistant

To be honest, your best bet is with the college. Ask your tutor what you could then go onto do. Or give us a link to the college and someone might find a couple of courses you could do.0
