Internet Eyes - CCTV - Launch 4th Oct 2010

It would be cheaper to look out of your window all day and call crimestoppers when someone drops a mars bar wrapper.0

I would also have concerns about councils use this, its a lottery giving you a chance to win nothing more and for a monthly/annual fee. It doesnt reassure people on the streets because of the time lag in reporting crime, only a chance of prosecution and small deterrent. Unlike the old way CCTV it could be reported in real time allowing crime to be stopping within minutes0

That statement from Stratford was interesting.
This is nothing to do with public safety security/public CCTV cameras. Nothing to do with councils or police. Nothing to do with replacing or backing up the official CCTV monitoring.
It's a type of 'reality game' run by a private company and all the CCTV feeds you can watch are privately owned ones, for example in shops and petrol stations. You watch, if you see a crime report it, and each month there is one 'winner'.

Looks as if the longer you spend on line the more monies you can get back - not a lot but looks as if it covers your subscription
recommend a friend looks interesting up to £2.00 for every friend - coming shortly ....
would prefer the £1000 each month though - stack the windows and here goes0 -
I think you'll find it is all in real time with the alerts going direct to the shopkeeper - camera operator0

And the link actuality says that the registered address is actually a guest house. And if you google it, it is a guest house.
And this looks very interestingAlso the accounts for Internet eyes don't look very health with liabilities of £18,000 and assets of just £3,0000 -
