Select your cover.
Pay your premium.
Take your chance.
There are two ways to find out how good an insurance policy is. One is to read the small print and know exactly what you're covered for. The other is to wait until you need to claim and then feel either delighted or let down.
While I wouldn't be without breakdown cover, I take the basic cover for myself but pay for one of the more advanced options for my wife. Although I do more miles, I'm prepared to take the hassle of breakdown as a risk of motoring, but my wife isn't!
By the way, www.topcashback.com have some excellent rebates on breakdown cover. Change provider each year and you really can get decent cover for a low cost!0 -
Hi options4u I will have a look at topcashback as that does sound like a good option.
I have also considered the RAC using clubcard vouchers, but as suggested, the price does seem to be very high initially to get comprehensive cover.
Thanks again everyone for the suggestions and comments it has been a great help.0
