We have recently bought a new bath mat for the bath, we decided to go for the luxury version which is softer , longer and has the padded head rest included in the length, however, we are struggling to get if to stay in the bath, it wont stick, when we fill the bath with water it starts to float, any ideas how we can get it to stay fixed in the bath.
Thank you
Thank you

Have you used bath oils and the like before? Sometimes residue of these types of things can affect how well things stick.
Suggest you clean the bath thoroughly along with the stickers on the underside of the mat in case there was any manufacturing residue left.
Also, always stick to a dry bath then add the water.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Thank you for your reply, no there have been no bath oils used. The bath is always cleaned with Mr Muscle bath cleaner, and thoroughy rinsed with the shower hose, and the bath is always been allowed to dry before trying to fix the bath mat.0

Well in that case....I'm stumped.Herman - MP for all!0

Don't they normally have 'suckers' to hold them in place???"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Had one of those "luxury ones " it was hopeless. Had to get rid in the end as it was a safety issue. Not much help to you I'm afraid. I would return it to the manufacturers and complain that it doesn't do the job. Should have done that myself. Got one from asda and It's great. Go discoloured quickly, but at £2.99 they are easy to replace.0

same here. tried the expensive ones and they are a waste of time.

Well thank you for all the replies. We did have a cheapie one before which also discoloured very quickly, but seeing as my OH is 6'3" and I'm only 5'2" and an 11 yr old boy who loves lounging in the bath we thought the longer luxury one would be perfect for all of us, however looks likes we will have to go back to the cheapie.
Many thanks0
