  • Hi everyone

Haven't flown much today but have been doing nice things like baking with Ollie, taking him to the library and dancing round the living room :rotfl: He just loves music at the moment, I wish there was space in my budget to get him a little CD player for his birthday. I might make him a CD of songs he likes anyway and play it in the kitchen :)

OH has to work again tomorrow so no weekend for me. I honestly don't know why I look forward to the weekend anymore, either he works or we're too broke to do anything so we spend the day doing nothing anyway. It gets very monotonous...

Anyway, I doubt there's anything I can cross off but let's have a look...

I've got wine, cider and teenagers ...

So some wine for me shortly. Probably haven't got enough actually, what with tomorrow so might go get some more in a bit.

DD is busy downloading free tunes with tokens her dad has saved for her from beer. She is so careful with money it's untrue. Still, mustn't grumble.

I'm trying to keep away from the arms. Because two weeks running a thread has degenerated and got quite - erm - near the knuckle. Apparently the one last night could well have ended up closed when a picture that must have contravened forum rules was posted. A couple of the other posters (who clearly know better than me) were quick to point this out.

Just the dailies done today then I went into town to do some shopping. Some of it been put away for ****. Was very good and didnt buy any books as I still have a few to read.

Just got back and decluttered a cuppa then a friend rang to ask if I wanted to visit another friend who is in a hospice. It was late when I got back so have just chucked a load of washing in and decluttered some lasagne.

lil_me congrats on passing your OCAS.
    Dusty Happy Anniversary for tomorrow.

evening all .... glass of white here

Haven't caught up with today's thread, as been out, out, out .... come home and a little frustrated.

DH is working hard on refitting our bathroom, and I am humungously happy that he is (it's been over a year so far .... but we're getting to the end of it) .... but it looks like any cleaning I've done this week was totally pointless, as the house is covered in pieces of plaster and plasterboard, everything seems to be covered in dust, as I've been out ... the kitchen has been dumped upon, and well, the bathroom ... yes, well, the bathroom ... least said ... but at least the shower is now partly plumbed in ...

So, it looks like I'm back to square one on Monday ... and worst of all, he has his brother coming to stay Monday night, and he hasn't seen the house in 2yrs .... (And of course, Monday is work day ).

Never mind ... right, refill glass and watch the end of X-Factor :)

ooh I love a glass of champers...

I have a gift, in a wine bag, with a 'bubbly' type cork (I had a feel)

I have a beautiful royal iced fruit cake too...

I thought Saucepot had joined us for a moment, there!

(he has Cary Grant as his avatar, at the moment...)

DS has had to be restrained from showing me the gift he has bought me:rotfl: no patience AT ALL, that boy!

ETA Just to be clear, I 'helped' with the thread degeneration. Mind you I learned a lot!;)
