Toots you are on my mind as well. Hope they are making you as comfortable as possible.
DS1 and I have spent and hour and a half mucking out his room. He got quite into it in the end and insisted on hoovering it himself at the end. It looks lovely so I made him a large bowl of spag bol for his efforts.

I know - they forecast rain today and a gloomy day. I decided to risk it and put the washing out and its drying away. All cleaning cloths now dry, heavy quilt drying and another load now out there - hoping it will remain dry for a while longer!
Feel a bit better now after some bread and cheese for a late lunch snack
Better go and portion that soup up now

I've done a bl00dy stupid thing...
we needed photogrpah frames for class to look at in advance of designing their own. So for most of the frames I took I popped the picture in the back of the frame because DD didn't want them 'shown'.
Two though, I put SAFELY in the back of a book.
DD as a bridesmaid was one of them, the other was of both Vallikids and they both usually live in the bedroom...anyhoo
I can't remember which book  I *think* it was some sort of a book from school. Which I might well have taken back there or left there.

Ran out to collect washing - luckily I heard the big rain drops splashing as I was dividing the soup up into portions. Phew just saved the heavy quilt from an even longer drying session
The soup is gorgeous. I'm not usually that keen on lentils but as I've got a couple of bags thought it was time to use some up plus would use some bacon up thats on the fridge. Delia's lentil and bacon and got 6 hugs portions out of it. Yummy! Thats weekend lunch sorted and some left over to freeze for work lunches when back there next week
It cost practically nothing can't remember how much the green lentils were - 1/3 bag used, 6 rashers streaky bacon, 2 carrots, 2 onions, 2 sticks celery, 2 cloves of garlic, one of my many tin of tomatoes (starts to hyperventilate as now down to 9 tins - must replace while still half price in Mr S. Notes to self its ok its stocking up for winter, remember last year when the shelves were bare when it snowed, means its ok to stock up on washing powder/gel for the same reason and are all half price) and 2 1/2 pts of pld ham stock stuck in the freezer with no idea what to use it for and 1/2 pt water to make it up to 3pts. Think I'll be making this one again
Trots off to sort the washing outfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
