I have boughttwo tins of Cadburys roses, £4.25 each in Co-op, to donate to as raffle prizes to my grandsons schools for their christmas raffles.

Other suggestions would be a bottle of wine, hamper of tinned stuff, or toiletries basket of fruit etc.

    Good luck with your raffle.

  • i have emailed and written to people, asked in person for our raffle for a cancer fundraiser.

i have had some really grteat responses.
a 2 course carvery lunch with a day pass for the swimming pool and gym for 2 at a place called dunston hall (big posh hotel :) )
a signed limited edition print from a local artist
    some handmade jewellery
a 10 pound voucher for the theatre royal
    a free haircut
    a bottle champagne
    some fancy cupcakes
20 pound TIGI hair care voucher

plus some others ive forgotten at the minute lol but i just wrote to them explaining who we were, what we ere doing and who we were raising for (and why).
and if i have had a personal experience with them or their products i always put a compliment at the begining of the letter.

in person is the best way to do it but as it isnt always possible a well written letter or email can go a long way.

    good luck x
