First-time mover! Help!

Hi Guys,
First time poster, but regular reader of the forum!
I am looking to move house, and need some advice!
It may seem obvious, but I didnt think it would hurt to ask!
My property is on the market, and has been for about a month now. Had a few viewings, but only received one offer, which was too low.
We have found a house that we really like, had one viewing, and subsequently put in a offer of £5k below the asking price, which they have accepted.
Basically, what happens now?!!
The house we want is still on the market, and I am unsure of how to proceed now.
We have a mortgage agreed for the amount that we need to borrow.
All advice gratefully received!
Thanks in advance,
Nick

Hi Nick
You need to sell your house! Be aware that as you are currently non-proceedable (until your house sells) the seller could very likely accept an alternative offer from somebody else if they are ready to go. I am currently in a similar position to you (although I didn't put in an offer as I want to wait until I have a buyer and thus my bargaining position is improved).0 -
To be honest, I think you've rushed in a bit too quick making an offer if you aren't proceedable. Unless you can get the funds some other way, you can't go any further until you have accepted an offer on your own house.0
