Lasagne was the first proper meal I made after moving out of my parent's home. Alongside spag bol it's the best thing I make.£4000 challenge
Currently leftover - £3872.150 -
Lasagne might be a food idea for me to use up some of my tomato puree. I bought a whole tray of tins, cos I love the stuff and it was going cheeeep in the market (a good make). Now DH says it's too sweet for him:rolleyes: so it needs to be well mixed into a recipe, rather than just being used as a pizza layer.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

Lasagne or spag bol would be good for that. I also have a chicken casserole recipe that uses tomato puree. Let me know if you want it and I'll post the recipe somewhere.£4000 challenge

Yes please Nicola. I am going to make more and more casseroles in the SC this winter - slight problem at the moment at DH reckons he ought to eat before 8pm or he gets heartburn, and I don't usually get home until at least 7.30....
(He's not an MCP, honest - he's got a neuro problem/illness which means he is normally too exhausted to cook for himself or me......)Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
