I needed a printer in a mega rush one night - only one place open and bought this pile of !!!!!.
Only printed off a couple of pieces and it worked fine.
Didn't use it again for weeks over the summer (long enough for receipt and box to vanish etc) and all efforts to print today have failed. Can't get the paper to feed. It is seriously frustrating. I want to take a hammer to it.

I think you were just unlucky. Canon are usually one of the best. Take it back to the shop.0

Got to agree with Vyle.
Currently on my THIRD Canon in a row, with no problems whatsoever.
Okay, so I always buy genuine Canon Ink and I make sure something is printed if I have not printed for a week with it (just to keep it ticking over and only ever in "fast" mode)
By my MX310 is still tottering away nicelySignaller, author, father, carer.0 -

I take it you mean third as in you chose to replace it after a decent life, rather than it explode in 3 days?0
