Can xbox 360 games purchased in U.S be used on xbox 360 machines in U.K

Some can, some cant.
Some games are region locked, if you go on to play asia it advises next to each game if they are region free or not0 -
Xbox 360 games are dvd's thus have a region (excpet illegally copied dvd's)

You can get some games for UK version 360 starting at approx £25 delivered (Just Cause). I can't vouch for them yet though. Have ordered something and am still waiting on delivery.
