Im so pleased first year doing these and this is what I got. I managed to get two like this and the other 5 are still growing.

Well done. We have had a great crop this year but probably next year will be not so good as that the way it seems to go. Even if your othera don't look as good they will still taste great and plant more next year. I start ours off in the green house and plant out quite large plants

My first attempt this year as well, growing 'Lark'. There are lots of cobs still to pick, though earwigs are getting into them now, and they're not getting watered enough now it's dark by the time I get home. Well worth all the watering through the summer though, I put the pan on to boil before harvesting cobs for lunch and it's the first time I've eaten sweetcorn just a few minutes off the plant, absolutely delicious! Are you going to eat them all fresh, or freeze any?

The rest are smaller, so I guess Ill eat them all before they get to that point lol.
