What car is it, deposits are normally non returnable and if they made you aware of the long wait, why did you put the deposit down. Having said that have a word with the dealer. That is a long wait but there may be a reason for it. I think the longest I have waited for a new car is 2 months.Iva started Dec 2018.0

it's a skoda 0 per cent vat until the new year. Foolishly, I didn't compare the value of my car at another skoda dealers.0

There would not be much point in deposits if you could just get them back because you have had a change of mind. A deposit forms the basis of a contract on both sides, dealer and customer, but you might get it returned as a gesture of good will. A lot will depend on what you signed.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

There has been flooding in the Czech Republic and this put the delivery dates of some Skodas back. http://www.praguemonitor.com/2010/09/15/czechs-germans-poles-ask-eu-money-flood-damage0

my concern is hat they have undervalued my car. However I realise that I have signed a vehicle order form. Could it be too late?0

Speak to the dealer. I have brougt a couple of Skodas and have found the dealors to be pretty good. They normally get a pretty good rating in most surveys.
They can sell every car they can get their hands on so they may be ok about what you are saying and that is a long wait for a new car.
What one are you getting, I have had a Felicia and an Octavia and they were both better built than the Kia Cee'd I have currently which although it has a 7 year warranty feels like it will probably fall apart 1 day after the warranty expires.Iva started Dec 2018.0 -

I'd say you have entered into a contract and can't back out without penalty, same would apply if they tried to change the costs on their side.
Your best bet is to discuss it with them with the aim of removing your car from the deal and paying the extra in cash, my guess is they'd be quite happy to do that as most dealers regard part-ex cars as a necessary evil rather than a significant profit centre0 -
If they undervalued your car, why don't you sell it privately ? Don't suppose you are obligated to part ex your car with them if you have found a better deal, all they are interested in is you buying from them.
Also is the other dealer offering more than £500 extra for your trade in ?Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Just noticed on the order form "you should read carefully the terms and conditions set out on the other side of this order form. There's nothing on the back. Is this an oversight?0

No, you'll have a copy and they hold the original.0
