Im considering going to earls court on 1st of october but it depends how much it would cost, ive had a look on trainline and was shocked at the price(might be due to leaving it late), is it possible to get it cheaper than £140 as an open return, id be travelling form gloucester to west brompton which i believe is the closest train station to earls court, the tickets are £8 so i thought if the train would be cheap then i might go

the coach is just under £79 for 3 so i guess thats an option

thanks,

edit actually for 1 person its only £46.80 so not too bad i guess, i thought it was 140 per person, silly me lol

Depends on what time you wish to travel, but it would probably be cheaper to travel in to London - Paddington Station, then take the tube.

    0836 Glos - 1037 Pad, £23.50; 18:47 - Rtn 20:45 £23.50, Travel card around £6.

or get a coach to Victoria then tube it to EC
  • Just to add to diable's great idea, if you buy from Megabus there are two coaches on the 1st Oct, one for £8 leaving at 07.55 and another at £5 leaving at 15.00

When we stayed in London this summer, we stayed at the Premier inn Kensington, which is around the corner from Earl's court tube station.

Cos of the World Cup, LOL, and the kids we did a lot of our evening meal there, the food was good and they also had some pretty decent daily deals on the menu.

Most National Express coaches from the west stop at Earls Court - but for passengers with hand luggage only IIRC.
