Devon on Paris options?

Am considering taking the car to Paris. Whilst we live in Devon it is a pain to have to go to Dover but it still seems cheaper than flying by the time you take into consideration all the taxes etc... Any top tips of how to get voucher codes etc or how to get cheap deals would be appreciated.Would prefer a port in the SW but most of the cheaper deals seem to be from Dover etc. Trying to book for Christmas to see the in-laws

A car in Paris like most large cites is just a nuisance.

How about Eurostar? Booking tickets from Devon in conjunction with international tickets is fairly cheap and a far better way of travelling than car or plane. Seat61 has all the info

I agree with you. However we will be staying at my in-laws who have parking. Having the car also means that we can bring lots of clobber back with us. Have also checked out eurostar&eurotunnel.

We're also thinking of going to France by car (from Devon as well) and I am looking for a code or voucher for the eurotunnel. Anyone has got tips ?
