Two weekly

Got a letter to say that I will be moving on to forntight payments, rather than current weekly. Why they doing this, makes mention something to do with my National Insurance number.

Will Carer's Allwance still be paid weekly alongside my DLA?

We've been offered a loan to tick us past the change, pay it back off each payment for 6 weeks. Due to the fact £9.00 comes off every week for Social fund a further £20 odd on top off this in realtion to this loan, means we can't do it.

Virtually everyone is on 2 weekly except in special circumstances.

That's really helpful advice. Is there any way they could spread the payment over a bit longer than 6 weeks? Are you sure it's 6 weeks and not 6 fortnights? Would that help? They are doing it to save money of course. It doesn't save you any money though.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Yeah over 6 fortnights. So £20 odd a fornight plus the £9.00 per week Social Fund. So nearly £40.00 off every payment .
